Network / Servers

At XZ Backup, our servers are managed with data redundancy as our priority. In addition to constant replication between our servers located in both Florida and Texas, all data is stored on RAID 6 arrays which are double-redundant, the failure of one or even two drives can occur and the data will still be safe. The datacenters that house them all have industry-standard safeguards in-place, including fire suppression and climate control, as well as restricted access and 24-hour monitoring and security, they're also equipped with dieselgenerators and at least two weeks worth of fuel. The datacenters are served multiple-gigabit internet connections managed by one of the top backbone providers in the world.

Software

The Professional version is more suited to home/home office users, with a simpler interface for choosing backup sources and setting options. The Advanced version is geared towards office and corporate environments, with a more streamlined look and feel, and the ability to use some of the more advanced features such as MS Exchange or database backups.
